Selina Gullery (E-RYT, RYT 500, BDY) is a passionate yogini and intuitive cook.
She fell in love with food and cooking when in Spain running a jazz bar & restaurant many moons ago, before she embarked on the path of yoga. Many meals later, she met contemporary guru Swami Samarpan, who introduced her to the refined art of intuitive cooking based on the principles of Ayurveda. Swami-ji would spend a couple of weeks a year in her home, where they would cook delicious meals together for friends and students.
Since 2011, Selina has been gracing yoga retreats around the world with her food. The main ingredients to all dishes she concocts are love and awareness. Her food is seasonal and locally sourced (as far as possible) and organic. She believes that creating a healthy relationship to food is akin to creating a healthy relationship to ourselves and to our planet.
At this retreat, Selina will be offering a vegetarian cooking class in which you will learn some of the secrets behind the alchemy of cooking. We will be preparing a three course meal together and Selina will give a recipe book for you to recreate the dishes at home.
